I am feeling sad and frustrated this morning. I very enthusisatically told of that Military OneSource position I interviewed for, and I really truly was enthusisatic about it, but this morning I received the news that I did not get the postion. I'm so bummed because the position really was perfect. It offered flexibility, and the job was just right up my alley. The position more or less fell into my lap and now I'm half wishing it never had. Although I realize that this reaction is somewhat childish, I'm really just feeling disappointed at a missed opportunity.
On a positive note, I'm excited to see the sun out today. Maybe that and having my mom here will make everything look better.
